Hudson.........a special little boy!!!

     

I have been a bit quiet on my blog in the month of July as I have been working on pattern packs for a wonderful project for a little boy called "Hudson", the son of one of our fellow Stampin' Up consultants.  The great thing about Stampin' Up! is that it isn't just a business, it is friendships, support and inspiration!! 

Hudson is 2 1/2, while Tina was pregnant her doctor discovered that Hudson’s brain wasn't developing properly and that he was going to be born with severe disabilities. Tina and her husband decided they would do everything in their power to give this little boy the best life that they could, and that is what they have been doing for the past two and a half years! After Hudson was born he was found to be legally blind. More recently he has been diagnosed with Epilespy and Cerebal Palsy.

Now the time has come for Tina and her family to make some HUGE sacrifices to keep up their promise to give Hudson the best life they can. Hudson needs a special wheelchair called a KidWalk. This special chair will give Hudson the mobility that he needs to get moving, play with his brother and sister and interact with other children his age. (At present Hudson can not walk).  Unfortunetly these chairs don't come cheap,($5000.00) which makes obtaining one for Hudson even harder!

I was very touched to be asked to help out by designing some tutorials.  It took all of 2 seconds to decide, if it was my child in that situation I would be so thankful that there were people out there willing to give up their time to support my family!!
